Baked Nachos

Baked Nachos Recipe

200g corn flour

150g normal flour

1/2 tsp salt

200 ml water

2tbsp oil


1Knead for about 5 minutes until a smooth dough forms (if the dough seems wet add some more flour).

2Set the dough aside for 10-30 minutes to rest. Now heat up a pan, take a segment of the dough and roll it out as thin as possible ( it can be quite infuriating as the dough is a little tricky to handle but don’t give up trust me you can do it, it just takes a little time and practice).

3Place the thinly rolled out dough into the pan and let brown on each side for 1-2 minutes, then take it out and put into a damp tea towel. Proceed doing so until all the dough is used up.

4Now cut the round flatbreads into a nacho kinda shape. Pre-heat the oven to 425F° (225C°) and line a baking tray with parchment paper. Put the nachos on the baking tray and bake for 10-15 minutes (until they reach your desired level of crunchiness and brownness).

5Take out of the oven and let them cool down. You can also season the dough and/or brush your nachos with a spice mixture (e.g. oil mixed with rosemary and salt) to flavour your Nachos and make them even tastier.
