Vegan Cinnamon Rolls Recipe
By Earth of Maria
👩🍳Cook Time: 20 mins
1 cup plant based milk
1 tbsp dry yeast
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
3 cups flour
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tbsp cinnamon
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup icing sugar
1/4 cup water
1Stir together warm plant based milk and dry yeast. Set aside for 10 minutes.
2Add sugar and salt, stir until they dissolve, and then gradually start adding in the flour. Add it around 1/2 cup at a time, and stir continuously until all of the flour has been incorporated. Now add the olive oil and continue mixing until thoroughly combined and a dough forms.
3Knead the dough for around 5 minutes, then cover with a paper towel or cloth, and set aside for around 20 minutes.
4Make the cinnamon roll filling by stirring together cinnamon and sugar in a small mixing bowl.
5Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 C).
6Transfer the dough onto a large, floured surface and roll it out into a thin rectangular sheet. Make sure that it's even in width throughout.
7Sprinkle the filling onto the dough and spread it out using a spoon. Roll the rectangle up tightly, and divide it into around 12 even-sized cinnamon rolls.
8Transfer to a round baking dish, cover with a paper towel or cloth, and set aside to rise for 20 minutes more.
9Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
10Make the glaze: add the water to the icing sugar around 1 tbsp at a time, until it reaches the desired consistency.
11Allow the cinnamon rolls to cool down for around 10 minutes before adding the icing. Serve and enjoy!

Earth of Maria
I’ve never been good at introductions because when they’re needed, I seem to forget every single interesting thing about myself. But I guess we’ll start with the basics. My name is Maria, and I am a twenty year old student from England. I study history at the University of Oxford and live in Brighton, but I was born in Russia and moved to the UK around ten years ago. I’m a vegan foodie (as you can probably tell by this blog), a lover of long walks and somewhere awkwardly between extrovert and introvert. Veganism and healthy eating are a huge part of my life, given that both have helped me overcome an unhealthy relationship with food. Finding balance took a lot of time and patience. But, as with many things in life, hard work proved 110% worth it! Whenever I’m not in the kitchen or working in my room, you’ll often find me at the gym, or at the grocery store looking for inspo for my next recipe.
