Savory Miso Soup Recipe

4 cups Water

4 Tbs White Miso

1 sheet Nori

1/4 block Extra Firm Tofu

4 oz Muahrooms (chopped)

1/2 cup Fresh Spinach (chopped)

5 Green Onions (chopped)

1/2 tsp Garlic Powder

1/2 tsp Ground Ginger


1Drain and press tofu - cut into small squares

2Using a medium sized soup pan, bring water to a slow simmer

3Cut Nori into 8 or more squares and add to water, simmer for 5 minutes

4Add tofu, spinach, mushrooms, onions, and spices and cook for another 5 minutes or until the mushrooms have softened.

5Place miso paste into a small bowl and add just enough hot water to whisk it smooth

6Add miso to soup and simmer for another minute or so.

7Add extra spice if needed
