Green Hummus Recipe

500 ml canned chickpeas rinsed

1 tbsp tahini

1 cup fresh coriander thick stems trimmed and washed

½ avocado

1 tbsp lime juice

1 tbsp lemon juice

Garlic powder to taste

Himalayan pink salt to taste

1 tbsp avocado oil or oil of your choice

¼ cup water filtered

Blend all in a blender until smooth.


2 medium size yams

Himalayan pink salt to taste

Garlic powder to taste

1 tbsp grape seed oil (or oil of your choice)


1Preheat the oven to 425F, 220C°

2Wash and scrub the yams thoroughly and cut them into thin wedges.

3Spread all evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

4Brush lightly with oil, add salt and garlic or seasoning of your choice.

5Bake for 20 minutes, then reset the oven to broil and bake for 5 minutes
