Banana Bread With Chocolate Chips Recipe

Ingredients

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

¼ tsp. salt

3 large ripe bananas coarsely mashed

½ cup of plain coconut yogurt

1 tsp sodium bicarbonate

¼ cup of applesauce

¾ cup sugar

¼ cup vegetable oil

1 tsp vanilla

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

1In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt. In another bowl, combine bananas, yogurt and baking soda, set aside.

2In a third bowl, combine the applesauce, sugar, oil and vanilla.

3Using a wooden spoon, stir the banana mixture into the liquid mixture. Pour this mixture over the dry ingredients and mix until the dough is moist.

4Gently fold in the chocolate chips.

5Place the dough in a lightly oiled loaf pan. Sprinkle more chocolate chips on top.

6Bake at 350 ° F for 50 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the bread comes out clean.

7Remove the banana bread from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes.

8Unmold the bread and let cool completely.
