My Grandson’S Favorite Air Fried Tofu Recipe

Ingredients

10oz block extra firm, organic tofu

marinade 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce 1/4 cup low sodium vegetable broth 1 tablespoon minced garlic 2 tablespoons rice vinegar 2 tablespoons maple syrup 1 tablespoon corn starch

2 tablespoons rice vinegar

2 tablespoons maple syrup

1 tablespoon corn starch

breading 1 tablespoon corn starch 1 teaspoon smoked paprika 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1 tablespoon corn starch

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

1Drain tofu and press for at least 15-30 min

2Meanwhile, add all marinade ingredients to a quart jar or ziplock and mix.

3Slice tofu into bite-sized cubes and add to marinade.

4Marinate for 15-30 min, constantly shaking to ensure even coverage.

5Drain marinade and reserve

6Whisk breading together and add it and the tofu to a large ziplock and shake until coated

7Air fry tofu at 400 degrees F for 10-15 min, shaking the basket frequently to prevent sticking

8Heat reserved marinade in a small saucepan until thickened
