Chickpea Ball Poppers Recipe

Ingredients

Chickpea Balls

1 28-ounce can chickpeas, drained (save the liquid to use as aquafaba) and rinsed

1 teaspoon tamari

2 teaspoons onion powder

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon ground black pepper

4 tablespoons aquafaba

1 cup fresh breadcrumbs

Spicy Mayo Dip

½ cup vegan mayonnaise

¼ cup sweet chili sauce

1 teaspoon tamari

½ teaspoon Tabasco

Instructions

1Chickpea Balls

2Preheat the oven to 400°F.

3Add all the chickpea ball ingredients to a food processor. Pulse until the chickpeas are broken down and the ingredients are mixed. Form mixture into twenty-four bean balls and place them on a baking sheet. Bake for 25 minutes.

4Spicy Mayo Dip

5Mix all the dip ingredients together thoroughly.

6Serve in a bowl with toothpicks alongside the chickpea ball poppers.
